HTML Code folding

HTML code folding combined with PHP WYSIWYG tools pushed the boundaries of the things you can do with PhpED. Whether your HTML tags are inside of PHP, HTML or JavaScript files, PhpED will detect and mark the regions of HTML code and let you collapse and expand them at your convenience. And of course PHP Code folding is working seamlessly with HTML code folding.

HTML Code folding settings

As expected the settings of HTML Code Folding can be configured by the user. As described in PHP Code folding you can set the color, the shape and the placement of the folding marks as well as many other elements of Code Folding. To modify HTML Code Folding you should: Select Tools->Settings->Editor->Code Folding Adjust the settings for Code Folding Settings using the controls shown here:

You can set and modify:

• Color used to display the folding mark when the cursor is not pointing to it
• Color used to display the Folding Mark when the cursor is pointing to it
• The following locations for the placement of the folding marks
  • Gutter
  • Memo style. Use it to place the folding marks inside of the PHP Editor.
  • Border

You can also define and use code templates of HTML code.
