PHP Code folding 

PhpED Code folding is another great productivity booster added to the array of NuSphere PHP Tools. With Code Folding you can selectively hide and display sections of a currently-edited file. PHP IDE displays the collapsible regions of the code with folding marks. You can manage large regions of potentially complicated text within one window, while still viewing only those subsections of the text specifically relevant to the editing session.

PhpED allows you to mark and collapse any part of the text in the editor. In addition to the manual selection, PhpED Code Folding also automatically detects and marks the following elements in PHP code: PHP tags PHP Comments PHP Classes Methods in PHP Classes PHP Functions

PHP Code settings

As everything else in NuSphere's PHP Editor the behavior of Code Folding can be configured by the user. For example, you can set the color, the shape and the placement of the folding marks as well as many other elements of Code Folding. To modify PHP Code Folding you should: Select Tools->Settings->Editor->Code Folding Adjust the settings for Code Folding Settings using the controls shown here:

• Color used to display the folding mark when the cursor is not pointing to it
• Color used to display the Folding Mark when the cursor is pointing to it
• The following locations for the placement of the folding marks
  • Gutter
  • Memo style. Use it to place the folding marks inside of the PHP Editor.
  • Border

PHP Code Completion and Code insight

PHP Code Completion works seamlessly with Code folding in PhpED. Whether or not your PHP functions, variables and classes are inside of collapsed regions, PHP IDE will provide the hints or method code completion when and where you need them.
