PhpED is tightly integrated with Nu-Coder - NuSphere's PHP Encoder. Here we explain in details the user interface used to enable licensing and obfuscation protection available in PhpED. You can find additional information about Nu-Coder in PhpED here.
How to enable licensing and obfuscation Protection of PHP Files
To enable the protection by the PHP License Manager functionality for the Project you need to Check Enable licensing check box on Protection Tab of the Encoder interface.
Enter license keyword used for generation of the license file by PHP License Manager
In Autoload license field specify license to be loaded when the encoded scripts are running
Specify the script to be called for error handling in Error handling script
You can set obfuscation level in Obfuscation level field. Currently supported basic obfuscation means that name of all local variables will be replaced with generated ones
How to configure other aspects of encoding
You can specify how you want to encode your Project files using the following tabs of Encoder page of Project Properties
Options tab - to set the options used for encoding
Exclusion tab - to specify the files, which should be excluded from encoding or license protection
Header tab - to customize the header in encoded php files
License manager tab - to generate the license file and make it required for execution of encoded php files
Please note that these and other options are also available in Nu-Coder Command Line Interface.
