Using external settings in .editorconfig file with PhpED
|
In addition to the flexibility of Tools->Settings->Editor settings PhpED users can take advantage of .editorconfig files to override PHP IDE Editor tools settings. This feature comes handy when working with 3rd party libraries that may come with their own settings for indents, tabs vs spaces etc. PhpED is compliant with http://editorconfig.org specifications and supports the following list of settings:
- indent_style
- indent_size
- tab_width
- end_of_line
- charset
- trim_trailing_whitespace
Please consult with https://github.com/editorconfig/editorconfig/wiki/EditorConfig-Properties for the properties and descriptions of the supported settings.
